Where has the time gone? We keep talking about how OBI started in 2002, but…that was 16 YEARS AGO! Though we don’t quite remember the official date of our birth, we’re nearly sure it was in December, so we’re celebrating our band’s 16th birthday at our monthly 3rd Wednesday series at Schooner Tavern.

This will be no ordinary celebration, no. In fact, we’re going all out in PINK. Yes, you read that right. The whole evening will be bathed in the color pink, and we insist that you join us by wearing your pinkest outfit for a chance to win the Prize of the Evening for best pink-dressed. In addition to playing you some of our favorite Balkan tunes to dance to, we’ll also have OBI trivia (with prizes!), snacks, and—of course—birthday cake. Get a Colorado Bulldog special at the bar to complete the picture (please tip the waitstaff!), and you have yourself the makings for an incredible evening.

In true monumental birthday fashion, please bring an extra $20 to gift the band via the tip jar. After all, you only turn 16 once! We hope to see you. Ages 21+.
